"Birdbath heaters are “thermostatically controlled” but that means they generally turn off around 95F. Ours ran temps in the 50’s when it was in the 20’s outside. With this installed and set at 36, we save on electricity and don’t have to add water as often. The birds are happy and we’ll save a lot more on electricity in one year than the cost of the unit."
