How does aquarium temperature controller work?

In order to keep the temperature of the aquarium within a certain range, a heater or a refrigerator can be connected to the controller. The controller detects the ambient temperature and decides whether to turn on cooling or heating to achieve the set temperature.

Do I need an aquarium controller?

Of course, having a controller is an extra layer of protection for your aquarium.
