At home within ~650ft, it uses Bluetooth for a strong, direct connection. When you leave, the base automatically switches to your home WiFi, enabling you to monitor and receive alerts from anywhere with an internet connection.

Can I use INT-33-BW without a smartphone?

Yes, to an extent. The base's HD LCD screen shows all real-time temperatures, timers, and alerts. But you need the INKBIRD app for initial setup, custom alarms, and remote monitoring.

What's the range between the probes and the base?

For a strong signal, keep probes within 26-33 ft (8-10m) of the base without obstructions. The base functions as a repeater. If blocked by walls or metal, position the base with probes closer.

Can I use this wireless thermometer in my microwave or pressure cooker?

No. The INT-33-BW is NOT suitable for use in microwave ovens or pressure cookers due to the metal probes and electronics components.
