"Although the measurement range is -50C to 300C, the display is limited to a maximum 100C. My plan was to measure oil temperature in the frying pan, so this is not the device I was looking for. The sensor is hard to open. My guess is that this part will break off sooner or later."

It works well, very easy to clean, and it is magnetic so it sticks to side of fridge while I am using it and then to side of drawer (metal drawers) when I put it away. I hope it lasts a long time! I use it for my gluten-free bread baking and it has really helped"
