"The temperature control works fine but it requires a usb plug and ac outlet. Our grill is not near an outdoor outlet and the extension cord barely reaches and makes a tripping hazard. Wish I had known prior to purchase that the unit is not rechargeable. Took away one star due to this issue. Will need to problem solve and possibly spend more money on a power bank to make it work properly."

"Simple to use, now I do not have to babysit the smoker on long cooks. A little bit of a learning curve on my part but this is a great little device that keep a very consistent temp. Have not used the meat probes yet."
