    Up to 9 sensors. The gateway's large screen can cycle through all 9 channels for easy viewing.

    Does the IBS-M2 gateway need to stay plugged in at all times?

    Yes. The IBS-M2 gateway has no built-in battery and must stay connected to power via USB to keep the network connection and real-time monitoring active.

    What's the wireless range between the sensor and the gateway?

    In open areas with no obstructions, the wireless range is up to 300 feet (about 90 meters). Keep in mind that walls, large metal objects, or other obstacles will reduce the range.

    Are there any special Wi-Fi requirements for the gateway?

    Yes. The gateway only supports 2.4GHz Wi-Fi. If you have a dual-band router, make sure your phone is connected to the 2.4GHz network when setting up, or separate the two bands in your router settings.
