Good thermometer once set up.
"Bought this as i was sick of manually reading the pool temperature. Small compact unit. It initially took a while to charge up, it appeared to need continued direct sunlight to get fully charged. Connecting the thermometer and the reader took a while biut finally got it working through trial and error and speaking to the support service. Once set up, it works well, the lighting is ok, a lot of the colours don't really light up the pool as they are too dark. but looks ok at night if you just want a light floating on the surface."
Best Pool thermometer for me so far. . . .
"I have owned many floating pool thermometers in the last 8 years and so far this is the best one because it is sealed shut. All the others have a screw-on top (for battery changing) and they have ALL leaked within 2 years and stopped working. I'm giving this 4 stars because it lacks one thing I would like. The display in the house does not stay lit up and is very hard to read. I would to be able to plug in a small AC adapter so that it can remain lite 24/7."

"First time I have a thermometer that's not a cheap thing attached to the stairs. It's very useful to have the display inside. Light is fun at night. Battery seems good too I would have liked to control the "comfort zone", it's not bad as is but comfort is subjective !"

"Unfortunately it would not charge in the sun. Irs very hard to get the high and low temperature ranges set up. It was very disappointing how dim the light is at night. Didn't show much. And does tilt over a lot in the pool. Over priced."
