"Used now for 1 month, it is excellent and reliable. I tested it against a more expensive calibrated Thermapen. The readings were identical in both iced-water (0. 0 oC) and boiling water (100oC). I did not need to calibrate the Inkbird, because it was within specs right out of the box. Response times were identical at less than 1 second to go from room temperature 25 to 100 oC. Inkbird is simpler to use and to calibrate than the Thermapen. And the Inkbird display is MUCH more visible with bright white numbers on black background, viewed from any angle or lighting. I prefer the USB-C charging, compared with batteries of the Thermapen."
