This thermometer requires a 2.4GHz WiFi network to connect. If you have a newer dual-band router, you may need to check your router settings to ensure a separate 2.4GHz network is enabled.
Do I lose connection if I walk away from my house?
No. You have two options for remote monitoring. Using WiFi mode, you can check temperatures from anywhere as long as your base is connected to your home net work. Using Bluetooth mode, you need to stay within 300ft/91m of the base. Many users confirm they “never lost connection” once properly set up.
Is the app easy to use for a beginner?
The app is designed to be intuitive, with many users finding it “very intuitive” and easy to navigate.
Can I use this thermometer in a microwave or pressure cooker?
No, the INT-14-BW is not suitable for use in microwave ovens or pressure cookers, which will damage the device and create safety hazards.
What if the thermometer goes offline?
If you lose connection, the base stores up to 30 minutes of temperature data offline. As soon as your phone reconnects to the base via WiFi or Bluetooth, the app will automatically sync the data so you don’t miss any history.
What alarms does INT-14-BW have?
It features a 4-Alarm System:
